So it’s been proven Mojo isn’t unbeatable as he walked into the cage to face off with John Troyer while trying to hide his illness. His strength was low but he came to fight, and fight he did. In a major battle of will and power Horne and Troyer exchanged blows in a prideful boxing mat…not, a street fight. Mojo was caught by a knee in Troyers clinch and went down where Troyer finished Mojo with strikes until the ref stopped the bout.
It was a great fight as we all knew it would be, but Mojo lost his title and eagerly awaits a rematch with Troyer and he swears this fight wont end the same way.
I knew personally Mojo wasn’t 100% just watching him walk into the cage. His aggression and determination wasn’t there, he wasn’t afraid at all which is what drives Mojo. Mojo’s spirit was missing and I believe he was in fact sick for a week before fight night and is still under the weather. We’ll all know for sure in the rematch if it was Mojos illness that cost him his title or Troyers sheer ability to dominate in the cage.
